What is Baccarat?
Baccarat is one of the most popular card games in Live Casino worldwide, and it has a strong following among Myanmar players too. You simply bet on the Player side or the Banker side — no complex strategies needed, so anyone can jump in and play.
The dealer gives two cards each to Player and Banker, and the side closest to 9 wins. A score of 8 or 9 is called a "Natural," and no third card is drawn when either side gets one. These straightforward rules are why Baccarat is known as one of the fastest games in Live Casino.
as66's Live Baccarat streams from multiple camera angles, so you can watch exactly how cards are shuffled and how the dealer handles each round — and zoom in if you want a closer look. Players can chat and communicate directly with the dealer, giving you the feel of a real casino.
How Can You Bet in Baccarat?
Understanding the three main bet types in Baccarat helps you make better decisions during the game. The table below covers dealer commission and explains the different bets available.
| Bet Type | Payout if You Win | Brief Explanation |
|---|---|---|
| Player | 1 : 1 | If the Player's hand is closer to 9, Player wins |
| Banker | 1 : 0.95 | If Banker wins, a 5% commission is deducted and you receive the remaining 95% |
| Tie | 8 : 1 | If Player and Banker have the same score, the Tie bet pays out; this outcome is less common |
| Player Pair | 11 : 1 | Pays out if the Player's first two cards are a pair |
| Banker Pair | 11 : 1 | Pays out if the Banker's first two cards are a pair |

Smart approaches to playing Baccarat
Baccarat is largely a game of chance, but knowing the guidelines below will help you manage your money more effectively.
- Stick with Banker — Banker bets tend to return more over longer play sessions
- Bet Tie carefully — Tie odds look attractive but it hits less often
- Set a budget — Decide on an amount in advance and don't go over it
- Read the Road Map — Understanding the Bead Road and Big Road charts helps you make better decisions each round
- Try Pair bets — Player/Banker Pair pays 11:1 and adds more variety
